PPBGL (AGROSCIENCE UNIT) SIGN COOPERATION AGREEMENT WITH UM PLANTATION SDN BHD FOR AGRICULTURE DEVELOPMENT

13 February 2024 - Universiti Malaya through the Faculty of Science (Agroscience Unit) has signed a joint venture agreement with UM Plantation Sdn Bhd for an agricultural development project involving Universiti Malaya Jelebu's Glami Lemi Biotechnology Research Center and Smart Agroscience Centre in Gemas, Negeri Sembilan.

The signing ceremony was completed by YBhg Professor Dato' Seri Ir. Dr. Noor Azuan Abu Osman, Vice Chancellor of the Universiti Malaya and YBhg. Dato' Ahmad Nazri bin Abdullah, Chairman of UM Plantation Sdn Bhd. YBrs Professor Dr Zulqarnain Mohamed, Dean of the UM Faculty of Science , YBrs. Professor Dr Ismail Yusoff, Head of UM Agroscience Division and Mr Hairul Anuar Md Sahray, Chief Operating Officer of UM Plantation Sdn Bhd.
