Kebun Kita through Patriots Food Network Sdn Bhd has established a collaborative research relationship in the field of mushroom research and livestock nutrition. A Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) was signed on 15 March 2022 by the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Research and Innovation) Professor Ir. Dr. Shaliza Ibrahim and Chief Executive Officer of Kebun Kita Encik Mohamad Jamalee Bashah. Also present was the Dean of the Faculty of Science Professor Dr. Zulqarnain Mohamed and Chief Researcher Dr Muhamad Shakirin Mispan. This collaboration will involve the operation of the PPBGL Mushroom Farm by the Kebun Kita company and the production of several types of mushrooms for research and commercial purposes.
The researcher involve in the study are Dr. Muhamad Shakirin Mispan as principal investigator, Associate Professor Dr. Tan Yee Shin, Dr. Norhidayah Taufek, Dr. Acga Cheng, Dr. Azman Ma'amor and Mr. Mohd Shahmi Hakimi Mazlishah.
